The orchestra has received enormous support from some of the top professionals in the period performance arena. Apart from the orchestra's patrons (including such luminaries as Frans Bruggen, Ton Koopman, James Bowman and Sir Simon Rattle) student members have also received regular tuition and encouragement from the specialist performers who have coached, directed and played with Bath Baroque.

These include (among many others) Julia Bishop, Catherine Mackintosh, Crispian Steele-Perkins, Harry Christophers, Tony Halstead, Lisa Besnoziuk, Peter Holman, Anna Macdonald and Mark Bennett. Regular coaching and performing with musicians of this calibre forms a central plank of Bath Baroque's drive to provide relevant experience for those attempting to launch a career.
