Both sound files above and all those on the Trumpet, Horn and Oboe pages are in "rm" (Real Media) format. To play them you need RealPlayer. If you haven't already got it click here.

If you have any difficulty getting your browser to play the audio clips using RealPlayer (for example, Netscape Navigator gives you streaming text rather than streaming audio if you don't set it up right!), click here then scroll down to the "Browser Configuration" section and select your browser from the list for detailed instructions on how to make it all work.

NB!

RealPlayer can start playing the audio file before it completes downloading to your browser. However, it sometimes isn't set up as default to do this. To make the necessary changes, select Options - Preferences from the RealPlayer menu bar, click the Connection tab and adjust the buffer setting to suit. You can also fine tune your computer's performance when playing Real Media clips by clicking on the Performance tab and adjusting the settings there.
